The Ministry of Awqaf (Endowments) and Islamic Affairs has distributed some 230,000 copies of the Mas’haf Qatar (Holy Qur’an) in Qatar and is preparing to distribute copies outside the country.

Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA.ir), The Ministry of Awqaf (Endowments) and Islamic Affairs has distributed some 230,000 copies of the Mas’haf Qatar (Holy Qur’an) in Qatar and is preparing to distribute copies outside the country.

Ali bin Mohammad al-Marzouqi, head of  Books Department of Islamic Affairs at the ministry, said  the distribution, which started on March 10, had so far covered  institutions and individuals.

Marzouqi said in a press statement the ministry distributed copies of the Mas’haf to  mosques across the country in co-ordination and cooperation with the Department of Mosques.

The second phase of the distribution of the Mas’haf Qatar abroad will begin soon starting with the Gulf and Arab countries, then all Islamic countries and, finally, the rest of the world, Marzouqi noted.
